My electric shower keeps tripping the fuse/breaker on my
fuse board, Also the fuse gets very hot

best answer
Your
electric shower could be working at a higher amp-age than
the fuse. This means that your fuse, by tripping, is doing
its job, you could have a 10Kw shower but the circuit supplying
the electricity is fused at 7Kw. The fuse may also be faulty
but this is unlikely.
It could be time to consult an electrician and get it tested.
